Our Aim

The Vyouz Network aims to provide a safe and enjoyable online experience for all it's members. Our sites operate as open forums where registered members can meet and communicate with each other. The majority of our members are genuine but, as on any forum, there is always the potential for a user who doesn't want to play by the rules. We take a very dim view of anyone who attempts to deceive, spam, offend, threaten or otherwise cause trouble for our members. If a case like this is brought to our attention we will investigate and, where necessary, terminate the offender's membership and block them from accessing The Vyouz Network in the future.

Responding to Offers

Before you respond to an offer on The Vyouz Network it's important to know who you're dealing with. Always look at the member's Fumz score and comments first to get an idea of their reputation within The Vyouz Network. This will help you to understand the history and experience of a member and allow you to form your own opinion.

Be especially careful of anyone posting extremely desirable items (eg. iPods, flat screen TVs, games consoles etc.) at low or no cost, perhaps requesting that you cover just the postal costs by sending them cash, cheques or PayPal payments before releasing the goods. When claiming smaller items you may want to consider sending the donor a pre-paid padded envelope (preferably recycled) since these are of little or no use to a fraudster! Better still, keep your claims local and try to collect in person, taking along a friend with you. If arranging to meet a member, we suggest that you speak to them on a phone landline beforehand and not carry large sums of cash on your person. Wherever possible, try to claim items from members in your area. This not only helps to keep your carbon miles low but also eliminates unnecessary packaging.

How You Can Help

We do our very best to moderate The Vyouz Network, but we are a relatively small team and with hundreds of new members joining every day it is a huge task to check and approve all content. We therefore appreciate your help in keeping The Vyouz Network a safe environment for all involved by reporting any member who acts in an inappropriate or threatening manner, or who posts unsuitable content. Please use the Report feature (available when you are logged in) to bring any untoward behaviour to our attention. And don't forget to give the Fumz Up to genuine members. This helps to build trust between honest members and improves the quality of The Vyouz Network.

Finally, we advise that you exercise caution when dealing with anyone you don't know, especially over the Internet, and would remind you that if an offer seems too good to be true it probably is!
